• Ask developers to contribute toward community amenities and infrastructure the whole Township uses.

• Create a 10‑year roads and bridges plan with timelines, funding sources, and annual progress updates.

Stronger Fire, Emergency & Policing Services

• Keep funding firefighters, training, and equipment so first responders can work safely and effectively.

• Expand fire prevention and safety education to reduce emergencies before they happen.

• Increase OPP visibility through targeted traffic enforcement and safety blitzes where they're needed most.

• Upgrade and build new fire stations to ensure response times are maintained and trucks and equipment are stored properly as the Township expands.

Practical, Affordable Water & Wastewater Solutions

• Aim for self‑sufficient, self‑funded systems so water and wastewater services cover their own costs.

• Build affordable, resilient infrastructure that reliably serves residents without unexpected rate shocks.

• Closely monitor timelines and costs to prevent delays and budget overruns on major projects.

• Publish clear, accessible information for water and wastewater costs, infrastructure needs, and long‑term plans so residents understand the system process.

Enhanced Parks, Trails & Community Spaces

• Upgrade playgrounds and parks so families have safe, welcoming places to gather.

• Support local sports clubs, cultural groups, and the Legions - they keep community life vibrant.

• Conduct a community survey on an Everett recreation centre and plan the facility when growth and feasibility support it.

• Add amenities people actually use such as pickleball courts, walking trails, and improved seating.

• Launch a Parks Refresh Program to upgrade playgrounds, benches, lighting, tress, landscaping and accessibility features across all parks.

Strategic Planning for a Strong Long Term Future

• Maintain a clear multi‑year plan so Council’s work is proactive, not just reactive.

• Co‑create the plan with Council, residents, and staff so it reflects community priorities and practical realities.

Building More Community Partnerships

• Push senior levels of government and internet service providers to expand reliable broadband to more homes.

• Partner with County of Simcoe and regional agencies to stretch resources for transportation, emergency services, and environmental programs.

• Encourage developer and community investment in amenities that benefit the whole Township.

• Leverage provincial programs to accelerate priority infrastructure projects.

• Actively pursue grants and alternative funding to support community initiatives and reduce local tax pressure.
